Silk Painting classes and workshops

I am teaching at the ACE in Falls Church the following classes.
Paint on silk using the French technique Serti.
Learn how to select and prepare the silk and dyes.
Manipulate the dyes using resist; design and paint
using salt and water techniques. Materials kit is
included. 2 sessions @ 2.5 hrs each.

Intermediate Class.

Learn how to work with wax and create faux batik,how to remove the wax,steam and create a wall hanging.

Advanced class.
Learn to use the techniques of water,salt,alcohol,wax,and SUGAR all in one piece of artwork and steam,embellish with silk painting paints, and acrylics.
